There's something badass about seeing a French or British hot hatch in the USA, much like a pony or muscle car in Europe.

Okay, saying an R5 turbo is a hot hatch is like saying the Clio V6 is a hot hatch.

Will some warmed over 205 GTi truly excite? Meh.

Will a tin can that weighs nothing and has an engine jammed in the middle with the correct wheels powering the car excite? Hell yes!

I think it's cool too. Even the ones that did officially come here are cool cause they didn't come in big numbers.

Example: (not British or French but still Euro) the BMW clown shoe. Very hot car with a hatch. Pretty rare so it has huge cachet here. It always makes me cringe though how some of them are treated. I often see them parked outside at night and all dented up. Americans should take care of their rare hot hatches.

Strange, I'm normally terrible at recognising cars, and for once I knew straight away what it was. Guess whatever I'd recognise a T16 by is the bumper :)

I should've been tipped off by the clamshell, if nothing else, but engine bay to engine bay seen in passing (never gotten to inspect either first hand) are decently similar... I admit I jumped the gun and expected it to be the MUCH more common R5

My friend lives in Boulder, CO. I know where a whole lot of DS are in Colorado. People say nobody ever goes on the property. There is also a big shed and we don't know whats in it, SM? I talked with Murilee Martin about this when he was living there, we were never able to find out who owns the property. Basically if you want to see them, google map for 6435 Colorado Blvd. Commerce City, CO 80022. He was working on his house and needed scaffolding, the Citroen are across the street from Safway Scaffolding and up a little, there is a big metal building, you will see the perimeter of the property lined with DS cars. Sad, I wanted to load some trucks up!
